Following the 2025 NICA Conference in Miami, Bailey Klingaman summarizes the events that took place at the conference, topics for industry leaders to keep an eye on moving forward, and the latest advocacy updates from the National Infusion Center Association.
At the end of June, the National Infusion Center Association (NICA) held its 2025 NICA Conference in Miami at the Fontainebleau Resort. The 3-day conference, attended by thousands of individuals in the infusion center industry, was full of educational sessions, meetings, exhibitors, galas, parties, and more.

Market Growth
In the latest market research updates, the ambulatory infusion center (AIC) market is projected to exceed $52 billion by 2035. This follows the compound annual growth rate of 8.9% that was reported in last year’s post-NICA 2024 Conference recap. The United States is anticipated to drive this expansion of outpatient therapy, followed closely by Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The market growth is attributed to numerous factors, including the prevalence of chronic conditions that rely on frequent infusion therapy to manage symptoms. Investments in healthcare infrastructure and outpatient therapies are also fueling the market, in addition to policy changes and legislation improving accessibility and affordability of these treatments.
2025 NICA Conference
WeInfuse University – Inaugural Users Meeting
The RxToolKit and WeInfuse teams started off the trip to Miami by attending the inaugural WeInfuse University meeting, a live session for WeInfuse clients to learn more about the software. The meeting took place the Thursday before the NICA 2025 Conference in the Fontainebleau hotel, and featured three speakers from WeInfuse and one speaker from RxToolKit.
Topics covered include WeInfuse’s enhanced patient engagement features, with a highlight on messaging capabilities and an integration with Formstack; patient flow highlights, with an emphasis on group flow and resource scheduling; revenue cycle management and reporting, which covered claims highlights, the fee schedule, financial model, analytics, and outbound eFaxing; and RxToolKit, including a demo for non-clients and details about the integration within the WeInfuse software.
The meeting was open to all current WeInfuse clients, but also hosted representatives from partners like Allegiance Group, Amber Specialty Pharmacy, Annexus Health, and Tennr. Attendees were invited to connect with these partners and WeInfuse team members at the meeting and in the NICA 2025 exhibit hall over the next two days.

IAF TOAST Gala: Havana Nights
Following the WeInfuse University meeting, the RxToolKit and WeInfuse teams got dressed in their Havana Nights-themed outfits and headed to the Infusion Access Foundation’s (IAF) TOAST: Together for Treatment fundraising gala.
The gala was hosted by IAF Board Director and Option Care VP of Infusion Services Charles Schadewald, and featured an inspirational video about Champions Weekend and a speech by former IAF Patient Champion Megan Ryan.
The night’s events included a live auction, a silent auction, complimentary cigar rolling, and dinner. This year’s TOAST gala successfully raised thousands of dollars for the Infusion Access Foundation, which helps to fund its annual Champions’ Weekend event and improve patient access to infusion therapy.
Cruising with Tennr
To top off the Miami theme, Tennr hosted a cruise on Friday night around Miami Beach. With exceptional views, great company, and dinner and drinks provided, the first official night of the NICA 2025 Conference was another unforgettable one.
Exhibiting at the Conference
The NICA 2025 Conference was more than parties and sipping drinks—IV drink bags don’t count, right?—and included exhibiting sessions for attendees to learn more about different products, solutions, and companies in the infusion industry.
RxToolKit set up shop near the center of the exhibit hall and spent Friday and Saturday showcasing our infusion medication guides and clinical training software. With the help of chocolate cigars, syringe pens, and adorable cookies, we kept our booth bustling with old friends and new faces.
If you weren’t able to stop by our booth or meet with our team outside of exhibiting hours, we would still love to talk. Give us a call at (888)798-5548, email us at sales@rxtoolkit.com, or stay up-to-date with our social media (all accounts – @rxtoolkit).

Infusion Medication Software
RxToolKit
RxToolKit is a web-based software platform featuring medication guides for biologics, antibiotics, vaccines, other injectables, and oncology medications. These guides, called RxWorkFlows, are accompanied by built-in calculators, printable patient education resources, safety data sheets, and easy-to-follow preparation and administration guidelines.
Included in the software is the RxELearning platform, which offers training and drug-specific assessments for clinicians to enhance medication competency. Clinical managers receive competency verification reporting to ensure their teams are adhering to best practices and are knowledgeable about the medications being administered. RxELearning also includes continuing education (CE) and continuing medical education (CME) units provided by the Infusion Nurses Society and the Immunoglobulin National Society.
