As a clinician and owner of Curbside Infusion, I find RxToolKit an essential value add. RxToolKit not only sets our staff up for the delivery of safe care, it allows our nurses to access a wealth of knowledge about a plethora of medications commonly administered, this empowers us to better educate our staff and patients with ease. A few years ago, we found RxToolKit and it was a game changer for training new nurses and ongoing competency assessment and review for our experienced infusion nurses. As the nurses started to work through the RxToolKit drug modules, they determined that we could realize a savings of approximately $1200/month just by changing the IV tubing we used. This has now been implemented organization wide within our umbrella organization, Articularis Healthcare, saving us many thousands of dollars.

Working in an infusion center, we work with many different types of drugs that are all different in their own ways. RxToolKit has been an absolute life saver. It is a quick easy way to access all of the information that I need on each drug. Each drug page has a “patient medication guide” that I give to all of my patients and they find very helpful. Having RxToolKit allows me as a provider to provide better care, decreases errors, and allows me to always double check myself which I love.

Having the RxToolKit drug lookup link right there in the Treatment Note is a nice feature....RxToolKit acts as a great resource for our Lead Providers as they write our Medication Safety Protocols, train new team members, review all orders/clinical reviews, etc.

RxToolKit makes my job so much easier! It tells me everything I need to know about each medication in an easy-to-read format. Each medication has a table that gives succinct instructions on preparing the medication for infusion/injection. There are also handy calculators specific to each medication that help to prepare dosage and infusion rates. In addition, there are patient education sheets that can be printed for each medication. RxToolKit provides easy access to all of the information that you need to safely administer medications.
